Data Analytics Virtual Internship

Turn imperfect records into an analysis someone else can follow. The roadmap combines data preparation, visual explanation, statistical reasoning and prediction.

Participation and human review are free. The verified certificate is optional (₹99), after required approvals and applicable dates.

Participation and review cost ₹0. The ₹99 verified certificate is optional after required task approvals; its availability follows your program dates.

Begin with a reproducible question, not a dashboard screenshot

This track suits students who want to explain how records become an interpretation. Check that you can inspect tabular data, identify missing or inconsistent values, and document transformations in a spreadsheet, notebook or the tools required by the brief. A beginner should reserve time for these foundations before predictive work.

For each result, retain the input version, cleaning decisions, method and readable output. In the experiment task, distinguish statistical uncertainty from a business conclusion; in churn modelling, explain the split and evaluation limits. All supplied records are synthetic. If your interest is healthcare context, compare Healthcare & Pharmacy Data Analytics. Use the portfolio guide to make the method as accessible as the charts.

Seven tasks from cleaning to prediction

Standard registration assigns these seven domain tasks and LinkedIn offer-letter onboarding. The starter assigns onboarding and tasks one and two. Read each dashboard brief before choosing tools.

1. Data Cleaning & Structural Validation

Use Python/Pandas or Excel to prepare reliable records. Document missing values, duplicates, type problems and the decisions behind each correction.

Submit: Cleaned CSV with a notebook or Excel file. Download raw customer records.

2. Customer Churn Analysis

Analyse cancellation patterns and calculate retention metrics. Define the denominator for each rate and distinguish an observed association from an explanation of why a customer left.

Submit: A PDF report or accessible Slides presentation with charts and findings. Download churn practice data.

3. Web Traffic Analytics

Map the conversion funnel, session durations and drop-offs. Explain which events count as a funnel step so another reader can reproduce your conversion calculation.

Submit: A dashboard PDF or interactive dashboard link. Download web traffic records.

4. Geospatial Data Analysis

Compare regional patterns and potential expansion areas. A map should show units, labels and the evidence behind a recommended location.

Submit: A spatial report PDF or interactive map notebook. Download regional market data.

5. Interactive Dashboard Development

Create a dashboard with Tableau, Power BI, Streamlit or Plotly Dash. Organise the view around a question and ensure filters do not leave misleading totals or empty charts.

Submit: A public dashboard URL or video walkthrough. Download the dashboard dataset bundle.

6. A/B Testing & Hypothesis Testing

Evaluate a checkout experiment with confidence intervals and significance testing. State the hypothesis, sample size, assumptions and practical size of the effect.

Submit: A statistical report PDF or notebook. Download checkout experiment data.

7. Predictive Churn Analysis

Build a logistic regression or decision tree to estimate churn probability. Explain your train/test split, evaluation metrics and limitations rather than presenting accuracy alone.

Submit: A GitHub or Colab link with reproducible code and report. Download modelling records.

Show how you reached the answer

All supplied records are synthetic learning data. Keep a copy of the original input and a record of transformations. Use labelled charts, clearly stated units and a concise methods section. If a result depends on an assumption, say so.

Open notebook, spreadsheet and dashboard links while signed out. Remove real customer data, tokens and credentials. A good submission gives a reviewer both the result and enough context to check it.

Choose the schedule that fits your work

Standard durations are 30, 45 and 60 days with eight total tasks. The 7 Days Starter Instant Internship has three total tasks and no submission deadline while unpaid. After its tasks are approved, verified optional certificate payment sets its end date. Standard certificates retain the dashboard's date rules.

There is no stipend, placement, job or college-credit guarantee. Read the fees and format guide and confirm college acceptance before relying on the program for credit.
